To optimise the life and reliability of your Stump Grinder, it's important to service it regularly. Here are a few points that will help you bring order to your machine maintenance.

Before starting

• Check the engine oil level.
• Check the air filter.
• Check engine switch function (3).
• Check throttle and cable (3).
• Check blade and cutter (3).
• Check decals and warning signs (3).
• Check wear and tension on the belts (3).

• Check the chassis, bolts and setscrews.
• Grease the blade bearings.
• Grease the wheels.
• Grease brake cable.
• Grease throttle cable.
• Change engine oil (first after 20 hours).

50 (once every third month)

• Clean the air filter (2).

100 (once every six months)

• Clean sludge reservoir for fuel system.
• Check and clean the spark plug.

300 (once a year)

• Replace air filter cartridge (2).
• Replace the spark plug.
• Check idle speed.
• Check and adjust play in valves (4).
• Clean fuel tank (4).

1. First change after 20 hours.
2. In dusty conditions maintenance is required at shorter intervals.
3. Before each use.
4. Performed by authorized service workshop.
5. Performed every second year.
